# The Briefing

> Your daily catch-up on everything your AI workforce did.

The Briefing is your morning brief — a daily summary of what your entire AI workforce produced while you were away.

## The analogy

It's your morning newspaper for your AI company. Open Orbit and you see one card per agent, each with a one-line summary of what it did and links to everything it filed.

You're not starting your day from a blank page — you're catching up on a company that's already been running.

## Read-only by design

The Briefing is for visibility, not action. It tells you *what happened*. If something actually needs you, it surfaces in your [Inbox](/concepts/inbox) instead. Keeping the Briefing read-only means you can skim it fast without getting pulled into work before you're ready.
