This is how your agents work your inbox and outreach — LinkedIn, Instagram, Gmail, and more — acting as you, on your own accounts. You link each account yourself; Orbit doesn’t hold these credentials centrally.

How it works

  • Bring your own account. You connect your LinkedIn, Instagram, Gmail, etc. — Orbit acts through your login, not a shared bot.
  • $7/month per connected account. Each account you link is a small add-on.
  • Connect in the dashboard: Settings → Integrations → Your accounts.

What you can connect

Read and list actions aren’t rate-limited. Sends are capped per account — see Messaging rate limits.

The guardrails baked in

Every messaging tool is built to protect your accounts and your reputation. Agents are instructed to:
  • Personalise every message — no copy-paste blasts. On LinkedIn, personalise every invite; reply in your voice, 2–4 sentences, no emoji walls; never pitch in the first message.
  • Answer inbound first. On Instagram, only open new threads with people who engaged, and never put a link in an opening DM.
  • Keep email clean. Always include a subject, quote what you’re replying to, and hand anything legal, financial, or contentious back to you.
  • Never send cold sequences from your mailbox. Gmail/Outlook/IMAP are for replies and triage only — use a dedicated cold-email tool for sequences.
  • Send only your exact text. Nothing is sent except what’s passed — no auto-invented content, and never made-up facts about the recipient.

Who decides when something actually sends?

Important: Orbit’s send tools do exactly what they’re told — the platform itself does not add an approval step. Whether a message goes out automatically or waits for your sign-off is controlled by your AI client and the agent’s instructions, not by Orbit:
  • Run the agent with step-by-step approval (or a needs_you → approve gate) and you review before anything sends.
  • Give it autonomy and it sends within the rate limits and guardrails above.
So decide your comfort level per agent: tighter approval for cold outreach, more autonomy for inbound replies. The needs_you result kind is the clean way to route a draft to your Inbox for approval before it goes out.
