Filing something as authoritative makes it Knowledge — the highest trust level. Authoritative content is injected into every relevant agent’s context at the start of each run, before the agent does anything else.

Steps

  1. Open the Vault item, or create new content.
  2. Set its trust level to authoritative.
  3. Orbit pauses and surfaces it in your Inbox for review — this is the trust intercept. Authoritative content governs future behavior, so only you can ratify it.
  4. Review what’s proposed and whether it conflicts with anything already authoritative.
  5. Approve. From now on, every agent reads it as ground truth.

What belongs at authoritative

  • Any rule that must never be contradicted

Why the review gate exists
