When new content contradicts something already in your Vault at a higher trust level, Orbit flags it as a conflict instead of silently overwriting. You decide which version wins.

Steps

  1. Open the conflict from Needs Action in your Inbox.
  2. Review both versions side by side — each shows who filed it, when, and why.
  3. Choose:
    • Keep existing — reject the new version.
    • Replace — make the new one canonical, archive the old.
    • Keep both — if they aren’t actually mutually exclusive.
  4. Confirm. Both versions stay in your history regardless — nothing is destroyed.
